Memorial Day reminds us of the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. We honor their memory with deep appreciation. 🇺🇸

Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. Classes will resume Tuesday, May 26. 🗓️

All Southeast Delco students will have an early dismissal on Friday, May 22. ⏰

✅ High school students will be dismissed at 11:00am
✅ Grades 1-8 will dismiss at 12:45pm
✅ Kindergarten Center will dismiss at 12:45pm

Some Pennsylvania homeowners and renters may qualify for a Property Tax/Rent Rebate of up to $1,000, with additional supplemental rebates available for some applicants.

Qualified individuals include:
➡️ Adults age 65 and older
➡️ Widows and widowers age 50 and older
➡️ People with disabilities age 18 and older

While this program may not apply to every household, we encourage families to review the information and share it if you know someone who may qualify for support.

Today, we recognize National Speech Language Pathologist Day and the caring professionals who help students find their voice. SLPs provide support that helps students build communication skills that last a lifetime! 📣

Students in the Southeast Delco gifted program explored the future of learning during a visit to Villanova University’s immersive Virtual Reality CAVE and Augmented Reality Sandbox. 💡

From virtual environments to hands-on lessons in erosion and water conservation, students experienced science and geography in exciting new ways. 🌎

The event will take place from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Academy Park High School and will include brunch, prizes, giveaways, and a children’s play area. The theme for this event is future focused, providing families with resources to build a brighter future for their students!

Community members and staff are invited to support students through meaningful mentorship opportunities that foster growth, confidence, and success.

Mentors are thoughtfully matched with students and serve as positive role models while building strong, supportive connections.
