The Delcroft School utilizes field trips to enhance the educational experience of the students. While many grades are able to utilize this option, classes are not guaranteed to have a field trip every year. No more than one academic field trip may take place throughout the year. Field trips are dependent on parent volunteers serving as chaperones. However, regulations require that parents have completed background checks (child abuse, state police, and FBI) to chaperone a field trip.
