Students in Southeast Delco’s Gifted Program enjoyed enriching field trip experiences that connected learning with culture and the arts!
In November, students visited the University of Pennsylvania Archaeology Museum, and in December, they attended The Philadelphia Ballet’s performance of George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker.”
These memorable trips brought classroom learning to life in meaningful and inspiring ways. 🚌

We’re excited to spotlight Leigh Daly, a Southeast Delco graduate! ✨
After earning her bachelor’s degree in English from Arcadia University, Leigh raised her family in the district before returning to Delcroft School as a supplemental staff member. She recently completed her teaching certification from Eastern University and looks forward to teaching 7th through 12th grade English language arts.
Leigh credits her teachers with shaping her passion for reading and literature. Today, she is excited to share that same joy with the students she serves. 📚

They explored artifacts from ancient cultures across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas—traveling through time and discovering how people lived, created, and celebrated throughout history.
We’re so proud of their curiosity and love of learning. What an inspiring day for our young scholars! 💙
